Presentation Guidelines
Instructions for on-site and online presenters of EAI MobiQuitous 2026
MobiQuitous 2026 is a hybrid conference. You will present your paper either on-site or remotely, according to the option you selected during conference registration. Please read the instructions below for your presentation format.
Time Allocation
Each paper is allocated about 22 minutes: a 17-minute presentation followed by 5 minutes of Q&A. Please keep to your time so the session stays on schedule.
On-site Presenters
You may present from your own laptop or from the laptop provided by the organizers.
- Using the organizers’ laptop (recommended):Â
- Please upload your presentation file (Microsoft PowerPoint) to the shared folder below by November 9, 2026, 23:59 AoE.
- The filename must be {paper_id}.pptx where paper_id is a 6-digit paper ID associated with your submission.Â
- Upload URL: https://puhiroshima-my.sharepoint.com/:f:/g/personal/sigeyasu_ed_pu-hiroshima_ac_jp/IgCzA870x7HDTpytPM3GbtWoAcu0OJOatStt1p7NqmmrfVgÂ
- Using your own laptop: Please bring any adapter your laptop needs to connect to the venue projector. The projector supports HDMI. Before your session starts, please check the connection with the session chair or the staff.
Remote Presenters
If you would like to present remotely, you must meet both of the following requirements:
- Provide a high-quality video recording of your presentation, and
- Join the live Q&A session remotely to answer questions from the audience.
To avoid problems caused by network quality, we will play your recorded presentation at the venue. A live Q&A session will follow over a remote conferencing system.
The meeting link for the live Q&A session will be announced before the conference. Please join the online meeting before your session starts.
Video Requirements
- Length: About 17 minutes, which leaves 5 minutes for Q&A.
- Resolution: 720p or 1080p HD. SD videos are not accepted because their resolution is too low to show slide details clearly.
- Format: MP4 with the H.264 codec. H.265 is also acceptable.
- Audio: Record in a quiet room without noise or echo. We recommend a dedicated microphone placed close to your mouth but not directly in front of it, so you avoid pop sounds. Good audio quality is critical for remote presentations, so please review your recording carefully before you submit it.
- Narration: You must record the narration yourself. AI-generated voice-over is NOT acceptable.
- The filename must be {paper_id}.mp4 where paper_id is a 6-digit paper ID associated with your submission.Â
