Internet of AI Things (IoAT): Edge Intelligence, Autonomous Ubiquitous Systems, and Context-Aware Smart Environments
Introduction

The workshop on Internet of AI Things (IoAT) at EAI MobiQuitous 2026 invites original research contributions addressing the integration of AI, IoT, edge computing, and ubiquitous intelligence.

We welcome papers on emerging ideas, practical deployments, and interdisciplinary innovations related to intelligent edge ecosystems.

Publication

Accepted and presented Workshop Track papers will be published alongside the main conference proceedings as a sub-section/chapter. Paper formats should, therefore, correspond to the templates of the publisher of the main conference.

EAI MobiQuitous proceedings are indexed in leading indexing services, such as Web of Science, Compendex, Scopus, DBLP, EU Digital Library, Inspec, SCImago and Zentralblatt MATH.

Submission Guidelines
  • All papers must be submitted in English. 
  • Previously published work cannot be submitted, nor can it be concurrently submitted to any other conference or journal. These papers will be rejected without review. 
  • Papers must follow the Springer formatting guidelines (available in the Author’s Kit section). 
  • Authors must read and agree to the Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement.
  • As per new EU accessibility requirements, going forward, all figures, illustrations, tables, and images should have descriptive text accompanying them. Please refer to the document below, which will assist you in crafting Alternative Text (Alt Text)
  • Papers should be submitted through EAI ‘Confy+‘ system, and have to comply with the Springer format (see Author’s kit section).

  • Regular papers should be up to 12-20 pages in length.

  • Short papers should be 6-11 pages in length.

When uploading the camera-ready copy of your paper, please be sure to upload both:

  • a PDF copy of your paper formatted according to the above templates, and
  • an archive in .ZIP file, containing LaTeX or Word source material prepared according to the above guidelines.
Workshop Organizers

Mr. Partha Pratim Ray
Sikkim University, India

Mr. Ray is an Assistant Professor at Sikkim University with extensive research experience in IoT, Edge Computing, Generative AI, and Pervasive Biomedical Informatics. His research focuses on enabling lightweight Large Language Models on resource-constrained edge devices and building intelligent IoAT ecosystems. He has published extensively in SCI-indexed journals and is recognized among Stanford University’s World Top 2% Scientists.

Prof. Shuai Li
University of Oulu, Finland

Prof. Li is a distinguished researcher in intelligent control, optimization, robotics, and edge intelligence at University of Oulu. His expertise spans autonomous systems, AI-driven optimization, and intelligent cyber-physical systems with strong international research leadership.
