International Workshop on Artificial Intelligence
for Mobile and Ubiquitous Communication System
Scope
Nowadays, Artificial Intelligence (AI) are widely used in the many applications of wireless communications, which has received much attention as a key enabler for future mobile and ubiquitous communication system. These AI methods of Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning (DL) and Deep Reinforcement Learning (DRL) have been extensively improve the performance of wireless communication systems. Therefore, AI methods have a great potential to meet the various requirements of mobile and ubiquitous system, Internet of Things, networking, self-adaptive systems, data management and services, context-aware computing, and many other scenarios.
Due to the new challenges of future mobile and ubiquitous communication system, such as high speed and accurate processing requirements, complex scenarios with unknown channel models, traditional methods are no longer suitable, but AI methods bring much more potential application. Just as AI methods have become a new hotspot in the physical-layer wireless communications and conventional communication theories. Currently AI methods show promising performance improvements, but it is lack of solid analytical tools and universal network architectures. Therefore, the model-driven deep network model is suitable for dealing with future mobile and ubiquitous communication system which can be modelled with interpretability. However, it is important to distinguish new capabilities created by AI technologies and rethink communication systems based on AI-driven schemes. At the same time, the problems brought by the introduction of AI technology into communication system, such as how to reduce the complexity of AI algorithm to make it suitable for lightweight devices and so on are also important directions in the future.
This workshop focuses on the state-of-the-art research of AI technologies in the future mobile and ubiquitous communication system. In this workshop, we invite submissions of high-quality original technical and survey papers, which have not been published previously, on AI techniques and their applications in future mobile and ubiquitous communication system.
