1st International Workshop on:
UAV Swarm Networking for Mobile and Ubiquitous Systems
(In conjunction with MobiQuitous 2019)
Since unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have the advantages of flexibility, low cost and fast deployment, they are widely deployed in the harsh environment to accomplish the challenging tasks such as environment monitoring, search-and-rescue, etc., which is suitable for the construction of mobile and ubiquitous systems. Compared with a single UAV, the UAV swarm can complete missions in a more efficient and economical approach, which makes UAV swarm networking an emerging research field. The UAV swarm networking consists of a wide range of researches and applications. The studies of UAV networking consist of the broadband transmission technologies of UAV networks, the protocols of UAV networks, and the cooperation mechanisms between UAV networks and other networks, such as vehicular networks, satellite networks, cellular networks, etc. The UAV swarm networking has wide applications in the logistics, information dissemination and data collection, wireless networking, etc., which connects the cyber space and physical space. This workshop will focus on the state-of-art protocols, techniques and applications of UAV swarm networking. The aim of this workshop is to share and discuss the recent advances and future trends of UAV swarm networking.

- Information-theoretical analysis of UAV swarm networks.
- Neighbor discovery schemes of UAV swarm networks.
- Multiple access schemes of UAV swarm networks.
- Routing schemes of UAV swarm networks.
- Synchronization technologies of UAV swarm networks.
- Transmission technologies in UAV swarm networks.
- Network security of UAV swarm networks.
- Prototype and test-bed development of UAV swarm networks.
- UAV swarm networking for 5G and B5G.
Paper Submission
Papers should be submitted through EAI ‘Confy+‘ system, and have to comply with the ACM format (see Author’s kit section)
